1.5 "unspecified error. The game will now exit"

I've been attempting to play this mod for the last few releases but I keep getting CTD's no matter who helps or what I do. I was hoping that the new version would fix things but that didn't happen. I included my log files for a few plays if anyone wants to take a look. I like the mod and enjoy playing the custom battles, but really wish the campaign would last more then a few turns. Last version I couldn't get past turn seven for any faction and even less with this version. I guess it just may not be my destiny to play this mod.

Could you be a bit more specific as to when you are experiencing your CTD?

i have this problem too. normally it happens to me, when the AI is making its moves at the end of turn.

Same as Malagant, installed on M2TW 1.5 (boxed, actually i've Stainless Steel, Third Age and just the original Americas in the mod folder), right installation folder, UAC disabled

What happens to me is after I hit end of turn and before it becomes my turn again, I get a CTD. I don't know why it is, but with the last version I always had a CTD between turns seven and eight. Now I can't get past turn three most of the time. I had one instance where I made it to turn four though. It happens no matter what race I pick. I have had only one experience with a "normal" CTD last version and that was with a siege

I have been having a similar problem playing as the Dwarves it crashed on turn 4 - but loadin gthe auto save let me get past this and a few other similar crashes at later turns. Looking at my 30meg log files it seems "A surprise attack" script is the last thing trying to fire (it was there on each occaision) and i'm postulating that it may have to do with the Border Princes surprise attacking but as I don't know which race has which ID I can't be positive.

Still not playing here... not even an idea?!

Bump same issues right now CTD unspecified error after either turn 2 or when I try to quit too.

i dont know if you have this problem , but it seems to be ; so ..for those who have a CTD while the AI turn (with an error like data.transgression , TC_undeclared attack ..or something like that) ; i found a file given by MESN of the official russian forum , which probably solvethis problem ..i didnt have any ctd in 20 turns with Reikland and Kislev in campaign map .

Thanks for sharing. My last CTD was that TC_UNDECLARED_ATTACK error so i'll give it a go and see what happens.

Where is located system log for WH? I don't think it is the one in the main M2TW folder, is it?

i dont understand ...are u sure you copied into the folder warhammer directly (not in text folder or other..in main folder of COW) ?

EDIT : oh sorry, i forgot...NEW CAMPAIGN NEEDED

Copied in medieval II total war/mods/call_of_warhammer/data and yes i started a new one
