    Also there's this text file (attached) to replace the old one in the "eod/data/text" folder. This will ensure that the exciting new Qin rocket launcher actually gets a name and description in game.

    Do you know where i can find the spreadsheet for the EDB file? Because i want to add some hidden resources to the mod (just for fun you know, to have some change in troops). I thought about doing it for "chu ko nu", "imperal guard" and "yingsu chariots" from the qin and "golden warriors" and "golden archers" for the indian faction and maybe some elephants to and some from the japanese ones. You can only get these when you conquer their home regions (ofcourse).

    Can i make a submod from this when i'm ready?

    Sounds like an interesting idea. Are you talking about allowing conquering factions to build some of the conquered faction's units after they have captured an enemy capital?

    I've also thought a bit more about custom walls and settlements for the Asian factions and it looks like things are actually pretty well set up to implement these (settlement maps are based on 'culture' in descr_sm_factions so Qin, Akagi, and Shambalah are already poised for nice new settlements). I'm just not terribly interested in working on these or on custom traits and ancillaries right now (but I am taking another crack at custom captains, ships, and generals).

    As far as spreadsheets, I didn't actually use any, just did things directly through the text files.

    i should give the akagi, qin and shambala (maybe) the same building textures because they almost have the same culture.

    Also the three kingdoms mod is in chinese and i don't understand it. I don't dare to try it with google translator because it would mess everything up. so if you know someone who can help me, he's welcome.

    I was thinking is there also a demon unit somewhere in the modding universe?
    It would be cool for the satanae faction to have actually demons fighting for them!!
    I know that there were some demons in the blue lotus mod but they are a bit to asian if you ask me.
    Or we could use them for a 4 windregions group. (you know a demon from the nord, south, east and west)
    If it is out there i would make them available only when the anticrist arrives or something.

    (with a trigger maybe set in a certain date or when a satanae faction has reached the highiest tire of demonic temples) Maybe we should give the player the opportunity the chose if they want them or not like in the lord of the rings series (for total war)

    Also for some reason the game doesn't likes my changes in the EDB file. Can you look what is wrong with it?

    Also i don't know if i'm going to put those textures for the buildings in as i don't havebefore done it

    I could take a look at it but could probably use a little bit of a hint as to what I'm looking for and what's been modified.. (error code/prompt perhaps?)

    As to adding deamon units and the like, I had thought about that too but ultimately decided on trying to keep to the overall theme in EoD (straight up fiction, but still somewhat plausible fiction).

    I know the akagi aren't there but i didn't tough them yet.
    Also polycarpe and polycill are just random names u know. I found it easier to use them from the tutorial instead of my own names.

    Do i have to put other factions behind it? like this:
    recruit "BLTW_golden_archers" 0 requires factions { roxolani, empire_west, empire_east, } and hidden_resource polycill

    or this:
    recruit "BLTW_golden_archers" 0 requires factions { roxolani, all } and hidden_resource polycill

    or:
    recruit "BLTW_golden_archers" 0 requires factions { all, } and hidden_resource polycill

    No demons is ok to me. just a proposal u know.

    I'm really not sure what's causing your error, you do know that there are actually several files to modify to add a new resource right?

    yes i know, btw i think what's the problem. I have only assigned the qin units not the kushan ones. maybe that's causing the problem. Also i didn't mensioned it before but every time i quit the game a "Wing_of_Qin doesn't cover all unit types" (or something like that. Do you know why?

    Also i just tryed something out and it was just HILARIOUS!!!
    I made moon warriors berserkers and put everything to high in custom battle on the map moon river against mushi infantry from akagi. Man, it was really raining man lol. It's a shame that i don't know how to put it on youtube!

    I have only played as the Akagi so far but I love the hero unit. The game seem to have a good balance. I was making reasonable gains then the Satanae arrived from the North, things just got a lot harder. Great mod and Great addition!

    I really would like to try this addon, but because of gamefront not allowing people of several countries to use it I canīt get it.

    So I've gone ahead and added the 3 faction addon to the ModDB page for the End of Days Mod, hopefully this should allow pretty well anyone to easily download.
