CTD everytime battle is attempted.

hey!

I recently installed the Napoleon total war from steam, installation went well, varified the game cache and the game loads up without any problems, however any time I attempt to start a battle it ctd's after a few seconds. My drivers should be up to date as it runs shogun 2 without any problems. anybody else had this experience/know how to solve it?

Yeah, I had that issue. It's to do with your graphics card not being compatible - I had to set NTW to run on the integrated graphics, not my Nvidia card, which essentially pins me to playing on medium graphics settings.

Post your dxdiag. Larkin could be right.

Thanks, yeah i've had to follow your advice and it's set to integrated graphics, is rather slow i.e it's laggy when I place the battle on the fastest speed, apart from that it's fine. and how do I post/find my dxdiag.? sorry new to tampering with files.

Thank you for all your help, after looking through some other topics I found the beta Nvidea 190 beta drivers. I only installed the specific driver for my graphics card, its solved all the problems, can run napoleon smoothly with all the max settings
