That's It?!?!
Well decided to take a step away from SS and play a Teutonic campaign on the Teutonic kingdoms expansion (Vanilla). VH/VH difficulty. I'm on turn 5 and I'm at Lithuania's capitol, I siege it and next turn (Turn 6) a general with some troops attacks from outside of the city. It's a very small army, but the Faction Leader and Heir are inside the besieged town with a fairly large army. So battle happens and I win.
Casualties: Lithuania's King and Heir, and I captured the general who attacked from the outside. It now says he's the Faction leader, so I ransom him off for 11000 something. Turn 7, I see the faction leader all alone that I just ransomed off and send one of my generals to end his miserable life. Battle over. Lithuania is destroyed... Wait what? That was their last family member? Turn 7 on VH/VH and the pagan foe are destroyed already? Pathetic.
I'm assuming I got unlucky with all the family members being bunched up. But that was far too fast for me, especially on VH/VH. I know the whole campaign isn't over, but one of the main factions is destroyed already, and now the Teutonic Order is a superpower. Anyways, to the point. Any good mods for the Teutonic Campaign, one that will make the game a little more challenging?

It's called "SS is way harder than anything CA has ever created and you should keep playing it." Late SS in that region is sort of what you get when you cross vanilla with Kingdoms (1.5x detail?), but, you know, SS.

You can try the Battle for the Baltic submod for SS 6.4
It has the Battle for the Baltic campaign witch covers the same area as the Teutonic campaign for kingdoms but with a completely different and more challenging gameplay.
