How i can rename mod?

Is it possible to rename mod? I tryed King William The Conqueror's tutorial it did not work.

The mod is Retrofit.

Yes it's possible, rename the actual folder then its .bat file and lastly its .cfg file and you're done.

Not working, i renamed the mod folder the bat file ang cfg file

when i open the game it says error.

Umm well perhaps i was not specific.
Say your mod folder name is XYZ.<---Don't use spaces in it use _ instead if you want to.

Then inside your .cfg it should be something like this:

[features]
mod = mods/XYZ

Lastly in the .bat file, inside it should be:

cd ..\..
start kingdoms.exe @mods\XYZ\123.cfg

^Name of the .cfg here is 123.cfg.

I renamed all as jetrofit but it doesn't work.

When it crashes it looks like this.

You can't just rename a folder and expect everything to work. There are lots of files in a mod that use pathing that includes the folder name. All those paths need to change as well.

Well can you tell what are they?

No I don't know them off the top of my head, but search for file contents with retrofit/ in it. Have you looked at your log file to see if it gives you a hint of where the problem is?

Nevermind put these and rename your folder to jetrofit and it works, i checked.

A cheat way is to create a new launcher with its own bat and cfg then drop the old data folder into it.

I solved the problem by my own i used squids launcher editor.
