Default CTD: Siege Battle loading screen (campaign mode)

Hi, I have a constant CTD that always happens when loading a siege battle in campaign, causing me to avoid siege battles entirely! very frustrating
I'm running Win 7 64 bit and I have the complete 1.4.4 english installation.
I was playing with the dark elves, and it seems it doesn't matter which faction I'm going against, looks like a siege battle issue in general.
Can't remember what turn I was playing, but I'll provide the log file (right after crash happened), and the save file.
You can try and test it yourself using the save file. There's an army outside Sars land. Use it to attack the city. There's 3 spies in the city, so there's a good chance you'll be able to assault right away. If not just wait a turn

Thanks and hope you can help me fix this!

edit: I was able to do a siege battle once (after many tries and ctds) but the city wasn't there visually (no walls, buildings, etc.) but my units would still act like there was something there.

edit#2: I looked at the log and the last folder accessed before CTD was data/settlements. Maybe there's something wrong with that folder?
I'll provide a link so you can download my folder. Please compare to your own and see if there are discrepancies.

I tried your save 5 times, it always worked and I was abble succesfully load this siege battle.
There is no specific error in your log but I think it's related to weather.
Try remove weather_db from Call_of_Warhammer\data to any other folder and try to load your battle again.

    Thanks for your reply Galloper.
I tried your solution but no luck still does exactly the same. I moved it to the "custom" folder, should I try moving it to other folders?

I was able to do a siege battle once (after many tries and ctds) but the city wasn't there visually (no walls, buildings, etc.) but my units would still act like there was something there. Hope that brings some light to the issue

    wat version are you playing.

if you are playing 1.4.4 did you delete the files that islendil recommended? these files involve many things to do with sieges.

I'm playing 1.4.4 and yes I deleted all those files and followed all directions of his post: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=427349

Do you think it has anything to do with what version of kingdoms I have? I never patched to 1.05, still running on 1.03
I also only installed the Brittannia campaign. Do I need to install the others?

I looked at the log and the last folder accessed before CTD was data/settlements. Maybe there's something wrong with that folder?
