Adopt Richard the Lionheart and Balain of Ilbelin

In M2TW Kingdoms: Crusades. I read that Richard is the only one character I can not adopt. But I dont like him anyway. My favourite is Balain. I love this guy from "Kingdom of Heaven (2005)" movie, Olando Bloom casted. I want to adopt him into my family of Jerusalem, but the most damn thing is: Richard joined after the 1st battle in holy land, and Balain still stayed out of my family tree, even after more than 20 huge victories. His stats is almost full. Could you give some help ?

What's your current ratio of generals to provinces?

I'm lacking general cuz I adopt only 2 man since the beginning (Richard and 1 other guy), I also didn't adopt Men of the Hour after a victory, all my children are younger than 16 years old (so there's no Coming of Age, no Husband). Every turn, there's always an Adopting Question, but I ignore all. I do everything to get Balain into family tree.

Lol baldwin basically survived until i conquered pretty much all the map, i too wanted Balian to be the succesor and in fact was Baldwins advisor for most of the campaign. Never got him to be part of the family and he died before Baldwin at the age of 70.

If you remember, in Kingdom of Heaven, Baldwin asked Balian to marry Sibylla (and to enter the KOJ's family tree), but Balian refused.

Therefore, it is likely that Balian refused to be adopted in your campaign.
