    Default bulgarian historian needed

    hi all,
    im looking for someone who is very well knowledged in bulgarian history during the period of the 2nd bulgarian empire. good knowledge of the armies the bulgarians possessed and capable of properly translating different things into bulgarian (for ex. names of units, names of buildings, etc) is required. the info will be used for an upcmoing medieval 2 tw mod based around the fall of constant. to the crusaders.

    yo, I could help as a historian, but not for the Bulgarians, just as a historian, im quite knowledgeable about the Fourth Crusade, and Eastern Europe of the time period.

    I can help. I've done some research on the Bulgarian Tzardom (aside from my own knowledge) for Byzantium:Total War for MTWII, I can let you use it and help with translation.

    Bulgaria in teh XV was totally submitted to the ottoman empire right?

    Yes, by 1415 Bulgaria was compleatly conquered, though in some documents from the time it's stated as a "vassal" up to around 1425.
    Unlike in the other parts of the Balkans, the ottomans compleatly slaughtered the bulgarian nobles, the bolyars, and most of the high-ranking priests effectively leaving the bulgarians leaderless.
    The first large scale rebellion (after Fruzhin's in 1403) was in 1444 when bulgarians placed their hopes in king Vladislav Varnenchik (honorable name given to him after his death at Varna).

    i'm bulgarian and historian, although not specialist in medieval history but have some books on the period so if you need help just ask

    I have never seen a credible source describing a medieval bulgarian army.
    Thracian if ur not sure about the medieval bulgarian armies u can look for some help and ask people at http://forum.boinaslava.net/index.php?
    those guys there should be well researched.
