A desperate plea

First, allow me to apologize for my earlier post.
I would really really like it if some really nice person could make an "eagle bearer" for the Greeks. I cannot do this or any modeling or skining myself. I lack the money, time, and skill. I doubt I even possess the patience. It would take me a month at least before I was able to make half decent models or skins. As it is I have very little time before I will have none,for a long time. I certainly do not have a month to spare for learning a new skill such as that. So I ask you, would someone please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please make an "eagle bearer" for the Greek Cities.

I would also like to see the model I described in an earlier thread made but that one is not as important and I'm sure would take a little more time. Though you can't say it wouldn't look cool . There's got to be a mod in which it would fit nicely don't you think.

So, yeah. Couldn't some one, any one, please do that one thing for me. I have a million (more like ten [10 that is, not ten million]) things I want done and I'll I'm asking for, in this thread at least, is a Greek "eagle bearer".

Why dont you just use the roman aquilifer? That, or you can change the colors on the roman aquilifer to match the Greek faction using GIMP, which is freeware. Trust me, there are a lot of busy people who have still found time to learn these things - in my mind if you really wanted all these things you would go out an learn how to do it. You know the old addage "Give a man a fish;feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish;feed him for life." Dont be initimidated, its not as hard as some make it sound. Maybe you will get lucky and someone will make this for you, but why rely on others when it is spelled out for you A-Z in the tutorials section? A little ingenuity can always make up for not being able to model. Anyways, good luck. Peace

I suppose you are right. There is one problem though, I am unable to download Gimp. It keeps telling me that not all the files are present or some such nonsense. (Any help with that would be appreciated though). But you see I may decide to get a skining capable program and spend some time to learn skining, but a few of the things that I would like done are modeling things. I can't model and as I've said my free time is amazingly limited. That is why I keep requesting units that require a new model. If by some miracle I come up with the money for a modeling program then I will do it for myself. And I'll be better than you . No, just kidding. It may just be laziness but I really don't want to wait long enough to save up money for a modeling program, then spend time learning to use it, just so I can rotate two shields out and extend a spear. (a different thread but the same principle). They seem like little fixes to me, though I may be wrong. So I can't understand why it can't be done for me, that's all. Like I said though, when I can get a program that I can make skins I will. When I can get a program that can do models I will. But until then I just figured that I would ask around, perhaps they would get done while I come up with the capital for such programs.

Why not join a mod as a text assistant. Then once you help them out im sure some modelller will be happy to return the favor. Its called being a parasite when all you do is take :wink:

As it is I am on a mod team. I've just started very recently. I don't know, sounds like wishfull thinking at best. No more so than posting a request in this section though. Perhaps if the mod finishes I could catch a modeler before he's off to his/her next mod.
