    Default East Osgiliath Repair

    ok, i love the East Osgiliath ruins but I can never repair the city even if I click repair huge walls ?? I think there is a script for this .. ??? yes? no?

    Please direct me to where it is ..

    Its in data/world/maps/campaign//imperial campaign file is called campaign_script

    yeah, i saw that script trigger but i've satisfied those conditions but nothing's happening .. i noticed the Historic_event is a message and I would assume the City model is replaced with a undamaged one ???? but i cannot see that anywhere.

    errrrr.. West Osgiliath requires a Citadel (about 15,000 pop) but currently only has a population of a few hundred .. this is going to take for-ever, especially considering I cannot move populations.

    Of course you CAN! Just recruit soldiers in for example Minas Tirith. Then dispand them in Osgiliath or where ever you want to add them. Nice and easy.. But expensive.

    Yeah, could have just seen it in a custom battle but I also needed to see what happens in game play and how my mod changes might effect it.

    Would be good If populations could be encouraged to move, maybe a new Character trait ? Although low taxation is suppose to do this. Of course moving populations exposed a flaw within the game .. once you leave the realms of reality, strange and unintended consequences are always a problem.

    but really. I like the ruins as they are it adds a little chaotic atmosphere to it all. I only wish that it would be fixed some how to make units unable to walk across the water

    Manual add negative population to one of your settlements-
    And then add same amount of population on the another city.
    DIY population moving.

    Or just play it in custom Battle

    Huge City + Gondor Culture = East Osgiliath
    Citadel +Gondor Culture = West Osgilath
