I want to show here my efforts on the Kingdoms and Empires mod

I am not very active right now but I'll try to update this post when I finish some faction symbols.

You might want to add an inner glow (black) on the edges of the inner shield.

LOL, you added the glow to the outer ring of the shield. I think it would look slightly better if you added it to the actual shield itself.

You need to smooth it were you cut the render, as right now you see loads of jaginess.
Also make the red darker. Go for blood red like the templar cross.

Great work on the text, no jagginess their, though I would use a more life like texture.
Overall a great start.
