    Default Run problem

    For every mod I install on my computer, it always says "
    The procedure entry point _AIL_init_3D_sample_handle@12 could not be located in the dynamic link library mss32.dll."
    When I try to run it.

    I found the solution but I don't know how to do this process because I am really bad with computers.

    "Turns out that the mss32.dll file that i had was a newer version than the one used by the game, so I went to My Computer and opened the RomeTW disc, copied the correct version of mss32.dll from RomeTw\Setup\Data and pasted it into my RSII folder and it worked."

    I couldn't find RomeTw\Setup\Data. I don't know if it is because I have a different version or that I am really just that bad with computers.

    My version is Rome:Total War Gold Edition (Amazon Download). I think its patched to version 1.6. I downloaded version 1.9 and downloaded fo Barbarian Invasion.

    Well, your problem is new to me too...
    Just try this .dll from my RTW 1.5 build and copy it to your main RTW folder and overwrite the old one.
    Bear in mind that EB needs a clean, unmodified RTW version, so if you have other mods installed it might be safer to move/delete them and re-download a clean version of RTW.

    It failed to initialize 3D audio now.

    As I don't use this specific version of yours this is the only help I can give here. Open a thread in the general RTW technical forum or even better, ask the seller (Amazon) about this problem.

    "Generic Error:
    Could not read file data/descr_strategy_lighting.txt

    Just for personal interest: How did you fix this problem?

    Please follow How to install EB, it sounds as if your installation is bugged. You have no other mods, or fragments of these installed, yes?
    If you are using Vista/Win7 and RTW is installed into Program Files either disable UAC during the installation progress or better, move your installation to another path.
