Default Mordor is completely ignoring Gondor

Im at turn 70 on my H/H Gondor Campaign. I've pushed back Harad to their desert regions and have signed a peace treaty with them. Mostly my main enemy had been them. But ever since I took Ithilien from Mordor, Mordor has completely ignored me and went after Rohan and the Silvan Elves. I toggle_fowed to see their home regions and they ave barely any units in them. I could crush them right now if I wanted to. I thought I was supposed to be facing a huge army?

Don't forget that many of Mordor's settlements have the garrison script. You will still need at least two full stacks to make a continuous push into Mordor.

In my vh/vh dwarven canpaign Gondor has taken whole Ithilien and Minas Ithil all by themselves, and are fighting just outside the Black Gate Had to give money to Mordor so they wouldnt get destroyed the first 150 turns
Under the patronage of Finlander. Once patron to someone, no longer.
    Content's well good, innit.

i'm playing as high elves and what i notice is that there is very little army movement around me.
I've conquered 3 settlements. 2 from rebels and 1 from orcs of gundabad and gundabad striked back but i could defeat them. Besides that is like a walk in the park. I play with vh vh. is it normal?

How far are you along in your campaign? I tend to find that early game is usually a bit dull and doesn't really get bombastic until turn 50+.

oh really? i'm at turn 36 so i guess that's it.
It's also quite boring wait recruting and there's also a lack of soldiers to recruit.

Yeah, due to the economy rebalance things take a lot longer to get going as it is harder for settlements to grow. It's more realistic I suppose, IMO once all the factions get on their feet and the invasions get going things start to get more "interesting". Just look at it as the calm before the storm.

when gundabad tried to retake their city, they came with 1500 unit and i had only 400 on the city and most of it was archers. and I was like, wtf.
Result: Had heroic victory, don't ask me how
but that battle gave me a lot of pleasure to play it

I'm playing as Gondor on H/VH, and neither Harad nor Mordor have ever ignored me. It's true that when Mordor went to war with Rohan some of the heat from Mordor lifted from me. That's to be expected though. Even still, they have sent a number of stacks into Ithilien regions to take them back from me -- to no avail, yet. And now that the Dark Lord has called an invasion on Umbar (which I took from Harad... the best move I've made in the campaign, in spite of the headaches) Mordor is spamming me with full stacks each time I take one of theirs out. The nice thing about having an invasion called on Umbar is that all factions except Harad have to travel to Gondor's lands to reach it... so I get to set up lots and lots and lots of "interception attacks." But geez, I hope this invasion is called off soon, because I don't know how many more full stacks from Harad, Rhun, Mordor, OotMM and most recently, Isengard, I can take out. I guess it's just a matter of time before Gundabad gets in on the action too.

At any rate, it's H/VH, and Mordor is all up in my business... and bringing plenty of Olog-Hai to the party too. Grrr, those trolls are not easy to take down!!

    LOL...

Im playing as the Dwarves, and its turn 132. Im leading the campaign economicly wise. I've captured OOTMM, and OoG, and Dale

Mordor on the other hand has taken Minas Tirith, and one Gondor settlement remains. Rohan is half alive. Mordor terriorty is growing massive. Luckly I have an alliance with both elven factions and im making lots of money and Mordor is growing massive..

Mind you this is on VH/VH. Think of as a time to build and then have Mordor kick your arse

Sounds like you're going to have some pretty intense fights on your hands mopping up all that evil Gimli10. By the way, what happened for the first 9 Gimlis?

In vanilla TATW invasions have a random chance of happening each turn after turn 40 (10 % I think). Do you use any mods?

Baron's sub mod compilation, I don't think that affects it

Did you enable invasions? In Baron Samedi's submods you get the option of disabling them, enabling them from the very start, at turn 50 or at turn 100.

From all the games I've played, listening to people above posting and even seeing the distinction between enemy when I reload certain times where the enemy makes crucial moves, It's pretty obvious that you never know what you're going to get.

I think that makes the game much more playable and in some cases harder. It's nice to not know the enemy game plan. Instead of, "Ok, Mordor will attack through only these two areas" you get, "But last game they were no where near here. " It makes you think twice, ai is more unpredictable and refreshing. It's all up in the air, really.
