after i solved this over a year ago,( i thought it was corrected by members of the cow community).

now that i loaded 1.4.4 down i was playing and got a loading screen crash.

i checked the quotes.txt and once again found quote 23 out of brackets.

this will once again correct the loading screen crash if you correct this error

trying not to harp on anyone but was surprised after my 6month disappearance to find this bug not utterly squashed out of existence.

havent played the game again yet but am 95% sure that the issue is resolved.

it was the torrent download, full 1.4.4 version with english translation by either gigantus or red dwarf, cant remember.

Hi, I have a loading screen crash problem also, it only happens for siege battles though. It is very frustating because it happens 99% of the time, so I have to try and avoid siege battles entirely.
Do you think your solution would solve my problem? If so, how exactly did you fix it?

    Thank you,
    Joao

Default Re: loading screen crash, causing random ctds, resolved again

Thanks for your reply. I fixed the bracket error, hopefully it will help with CTDs in general.

Regarding the siege battle crashes, do you have any idea what could be causing them, and how I could fix it?

    Thanks
