Default any tips about how to balance u military in economy during a time of war?

im playing as england and i recently found my self in a war with french, denemark, and the holy roman empire,

while denemark did not preform any kind of military offense so far, officialy we are at war an i dont want to take chance, that will be able take my only castel in europe,

in the other hand i got some few more cities, arrund and there all being attacked a lot by french forces and holy roman empire forces.

the combinations of all of it indicates that i require quite a big army, to defend my boarders.

witch means a lot of upkeep to pay,

and it also means that i need to keep advance in tech so i can stay able to defend myself and attack the enemys forces and establishments. keeping a big army and the need to advance tech mean that i need a good economy.

and that means that i need to build more farms.
    and roads.

so my questions is. is anyone can give me some tips of how to utlize my treusury in the best way for it?

Well, first of all you should take a good look at all your garrisons. If you have more than 2 units garrisoned in non-borderline settlements, meaning settlements not under thread (Dublin, Nottingham, Edinburgh...) you should move that garrison, aside for two units or so, to your main army. They generally just waste money just sitting there.

Now, go on the offensive. Sacking cities and castles really helps with your economy. Sounds to me like you got yourself in a bundle of wars far too early to have any decent economy. Either go on the offensive with the forces you have to get some money, or go on the defensive and start building economical buildings.

Another thing you need to do is stop recruiting. Try and make peace if you're not going on the offensive, your economy is obviously incapable of handling 3 different wars.

I always build economic buildings first in every stage of the game no matter what. And it's usually in the following order; Roads-Farms-Ports-Markets-Warehouses-Any other. The order doesn't matter, what does matter is that you build economic buildings first everywhere, aside from places you deemed to recruit troops from (Say... Nottingham and Caen), where you should still get roads and ports first, and only then recruitment buildings along with farms (Barracks, Archery Range, Stables...), and then blacksmiths.

What I like to do most in the few first turns (20 or so) is build all those economic buildings, while relying heavily on mercenaries to bolster my troops. It's a crude method, but your economy desperately needs that jumpstart early on.

My best advice to you is to try and avoid wars in the first 20 turns unless you are on the offensive. Getting wars with 3 nations too early will demolish your economy completely, especially with the three being your main trading partners (The Holy Roman Empire and France are your only land-bordered nations aside for Scotland, which is a minnow, and the Danes are your only seaborne trade hub).

If you need some extra help, I suggest clicking on my guide in my signature right below this post. I've written it a while ago, but it still applies.

In economic down time, cheap out on the infantry.

go with the most cost effective.

spend decent money on Cavalry, goes for any faction. You can easily tolerate poor infantry, if you have a capable mounted division.

You can split your cavalry half and half between Light and Heavy - since light cav is cheap in upkeep and recruit.

anytime you use mercs, disband them after the battle -- sometimes using them is actually wise in economic downtime because it may actually result in a more crushing victory, or less casualties on your side -- therefore cheaper in the long run. Just disband after use tho.

I agree with Nazgul Killer. Better to use the armies you have on the offense than cripple yourself by trying to maintain a defense that you can't afford. Consider trading a city away for coin and peace with Denmark. Especially if that city can give you a buffer province against the HRE. That might take some of the pressure off and let you blitz france with raids.

it seems like you've started a poorly planned out campaign and are now trying to recover from a tough spot. in which case I'll advise you to complete any economic buildings you haven't completed yet in all your cities and stay on the defensive while you get your economy in order. as far as garrisons go, in all your cities stick to as many troops as your free upkeep per city is, to nullify the majority of your garrison upkeep. in castles it depends, at the back just stick a spear militia or something, near the front keep your main army. rely on mailed knights and mercenary cavalry to destroy all AI armies, with solid micro you should be able to annihilate stack, after stack, after stack or poor quality infantry with a bunch of other random units controlled by the AI. when you've stabilized your economy prepare to go on the offensive. just bun rush into poorly garrisoned AI settlements and take them by storm, against larger garrisons decide whether to focus on cavalry, starve them out and destroy in the open field or focus on infantry and rush into siege battles. either way, I strongly recommend you take it slow on the offensive, as you don't seem to be a very experienced player. 1 mistake many rookies make is bite more than they can chew, and than get destroyed. so don't invade too far anywhere, try to slowly expand your borders outwards, somewhat symmetrically, and make sure you have enough troops to defend your newly conquered settlements(generally a large cavalry based offensive stack patrolling around for each border is good enough, another option is to keep solid garrisons in each border settlement).
