Thread moved from M2TW GD forums to Mod workshop.
For HRE, units like armored sergeants have the attachment texture by the file name of Final Kite_hre_diff.texture & same file for spear militia.

Yeah I figured that would be the name, but I must be stupid cuz I can't find it.. its not in my data/unit models/attachementsets folder. Where is it supposed to be? Could I ask someone to upload it please?

Download my attachment and then extract the file from the .zip file into the tools\unpacker folder, double click the file and enter Y, meaning yes, 3 times. Then check a folder in your C:\packs directory you will find the file i mentioned in blue in your computer.

Ah damn, didn't work. Checked my C:\ (and D:\) drives, no "pack" directory. My medieval is on D:\, is that the problem?

    Have you un-packed mate?

If not follow this tutorial and make sure you follow all instructions!

We are not allowed to upload un-modified vanilla files, so either un-pack and find it yourself, or some mods may include in their files where you might find it.

You could also use the windows search feature to search the attachmentset file for you.

Place this bat file in the Medieval II Total War\tools\unpacker directory of your game first and then run it as an administrator to extract the file.

Figured it out, thanks I'm pretty handy with Photoshop. Is it ok to post modifications of .texture files here? How does one do that?

Good & yes it's ok to post modifications here, you can convert the texture to .jpg\.png type etc and then upload it as an attachment or use image hosting website like imageshack etc.
