Help needed for moving factions from TATW to SS.

While playing TATW I concluded that it would be really awesome to move TATW factions to SS. I have found many tutorials on how to add factions, but I'm confused regarding moving factions from one mod to another. Could anyone help me in this, or point me to a tutorial I've missed which could help?

To clearify a little, specific questions are allot easier to answer then writing out a full Tut on how to do something that involved, especially since most of it is already in other tutorials here, such as the one Ishan linked and the battle_models.modeldb tut that one links you to.

All faction slots in Stainless steel are already full so you'll have to remove one to add a TATW one.

I think he wants to replace it, so removing isn't necessary, he just needs to know which part to replace\edit\rename etc.

Well you can do all of that with less modification of text file & actual replacement of graphics\files etc.
Like for example if you just want to replace the name of this faction then expanded.txt file in the data\text folder is you want. You don't have to rename everything. But the real recognized name for this faction will remain leon\spain whatever.
For putting units, same drill you rename the actual displayed name from the export_units.txt file and then rename the files in a similar fashion and replace those original files with proper 3D model and its relevant textures corresponding with BMDB file.

That's not what i meant, what you did just killed the mod.
I will explain with an example later if someone doesn't helps you, very busy right now.

What I mean is, Instead of moving factions to the map of SS, you move the SS map to TATW, and then make adjustments.
