Whats your guys favouite Lord of the Rings Movie/Book?

Mine is "Return of the King" for both. Has an interested story in the book, and the movie is full action

return of the king the movie had all of action the two towers was good but the return of the king book and movie were better

The book version of the The Two Towers is superb, especially like the chapters with the Uruks and Merry and Pippin, the gollum chapters are a great read too.

Still the ROTK film and book are both too brilliant to be denied.

Even the earliest book chapters, which gain a fair bit of criticism for their length and deviations from the plot, and were rightly cut down in the movie, are great on your second read through. You really appreciate the idealistic world of the Shire and Frodo's (and even Tolkiens!) reluctance to get to Rivendell quickly.

I really can't say which book i like most, there are parts in every book that I like more and that I like not so much.

As for the movies, the choice is clear to me: "Fellowship".

The book was really hard to decide, but at last I chose TROTK. It's really nice, and just enough of everything. Same answer for the movie, altho it was an easier choice. The movies arent as good as the books, but can be nice to watch

Return of the King, the book, mainly because of the ride of the rohirrim chapter, Theodens charge sends chills down my spine.....

Suddenly the king cried to Snowmane and the horse sprang away. Behind him his banner blew in the wind, white horse upon a field of green, but he outpaced it. After him thundered the knights of his house, but he was ever before them. Éomer rode there, the white horsetail on his helm floating in his speed, and the front of the first éored roared like a breaker foaming to the shore, but Théoden could not be overtaken...

Thats only part it!

Saying that theodens charge/rallying cry in the films is damn awesome...

I loved mostly both Fotr and two towers books,I loved Rotk because of a quite lot of additional information about arda,races,languages.. I totaly loved TT movie

If I had to choose, I would pick the first movie and book. I really love the change of scenery and the introduction into something really epic.

As a book i prefer Return of the king, movie scrawed it up so badly.. Gondor soldiers=toys..
As a movie, Two Towers is the best, but Fellowship of the ring is VERY good intro.. Can`t choose

Actually there is just one book, The Lord of The Rings, but 'cause problems due to publishing it had to be cutted to 3 pieces. ... So i say, i love the books!
