Best/worst album covers

Please share your best/worst album covers. In the end I might have a poll (1 poll for the best another for the worst) on the top 5 suggested covers. Don't keep suggesting the same one (Its cheating)

Amen to that. MCR are as shockingly bad as their album cover

For those not clued up enough on the greatest music of the modern(ish) era, its Dark Side of the Moon. The elegant simplicity just rocks.

I second Dark Side, not just a pretty cover either....

I got it the other day, great album!

I know I used this in the controversial album thread come to think about it.

Rage Against the Machine


This is not the best perhaps, but one that sticks in my mind very strongly.

Maybe the original Appetite for Destruction cover could be the best in my opinion. I wont link it for the "adult" themes. That said the RATM one isn't so rosy itself!

I third the DSotM album.
Just so simple, yet so meaningful.
And it has a myth behind it.

And of course Nine Inch Nails.. everyone loves the minimalist aproach of Broken and Fixed

I'll have to agree with this one, it's a very good cover (and good album).
