Great map... new lands to conquer!
It reminds me of an ancient map dipicting the eurasian landmass, only different. It's great.
I'd definitely use this map if you released it, oh yes.
Well done!
Wow great sofar! BTW be sure to add Slothsilhiem(sp?) to the north of Vvardenvel. BTW which faction are going where? Romans should obivously have Cyrodil of course.

There are some problems with the real TES terrains so I will have to be a little imaginative.
If all goes well I may comment to Tamriel: Total War for MTW 2, but for now this is all in fun.
Slothsilhiem will be a negative for the first map atleast. I plan to expand it at one point to include the eastern islands which hold some of the other races not shown in any of the games.

So your basically making a mini-mod using Tamriel as a setting? Yeah, i'd definitly play it also.

That's really a brilliant idea Kscott. I hope a mod can develop following the release of MTWII to reproduce the world of Elder scrolls within the gameplay, but failing that, I assume some of the factions can be tweaked to fufill the roles.
And for now, it seem's like a good idea to make this for RTW. I would personally suggest looking abroad and getting permission to use skins from around the community for the different groups.
I feel like the redguards would work if drawn from a Persia/Parthia basis. A dismounted Cataphract of Atilla's could easily be a paladin type.
The LOTR-TW elves are perfect for the role of the high elves in Elder scrolls IV.
And so forth. You will likely do the research abroad to find the information. I hear that the Imperial Lands in Elder s crolls are actually more jungle than nordic or european.
for the imperials I have heared it described this way. Their province is rainforest as described in the pocket guide to the empire, however the rainforest doesnt always imply tropical rainforest. You can have a carniferous rainforest.
