    Default enjoying it

In some battles, there are units that, sometime, go out of control just because they feel secured on the hill (that is what its written) and are enjoyin it ! while the battle is taking places and loosing men left and right ... It is very funny as a detail in the game, but you can loose the battle if that happens to the unit that can save the ending of the battle, such as heavy cavalry. I am wondering how this occures.

Well, the idea is that feeling secure on the hill means that you have the higher ground, which naturally puts you at an advantage. It doesn't matter if the unit is standing around or fighting, you'll get that morale boosting bit either way.

Yep it says on the unit status table (in the battlefield) 'feeling secure on hill'. Btw if general is nearby and flanks are secure too, you get big additional morale boost :happy0144

I have never seen units "get out of control" just by standing on a hill. The only thing I can think of is when they get stuck in the body of a fallen foe (or somewhere else but then it is obvious), the unit does not follow orders any more, can not move any more and the crossing sword icon is shown in their picture. If this happens it helps to run an other unit over them and they will eventually become unstuck.
