This game is insanely hard.

Anyway, can anyone help me? every round some new army attacks me, and i cant keep on fighting. i dont have enough soldiers. its getting so hard its just boring...

I'd have to say try a different faction, or play on easy/easy.
Also, I would work on avoiding diplomacy. It doesn't work well in Rome Total War.
In addition, don't concentrate on the east. You should be prepared to abandon a lot of those provinces and moving your garrisons westward to deal with the Ptolemaic empire.

Give Rome or Carthage a shot.

whats easy/easy mean? its just hard, medium, easy and i think very hard, right?

also...to abandon them, should i just destroy buildings and get my money back, or just move armies out and let other ppl take it over?

Easy/easy is the settings for both Campaign AI and Battle AI difficulty. Destroy the buildings so you get SOME money back. And you should start withEgypt/Ptolomies. They are, by far, the easiest faction to play as for begginers.

No, but now they have to waste money rebuilding everything.

Your problem is (no offense there) is that your playing as a hard faction in a difficult campaign, I would recommend playing RTR with the Romans or the Egyptians the first time through, and try playing as one of the more difficult factions when you get a little better and have more experience and a better knowledge of the game. Personally, i hate the Seleucids because they are very hard, I think even harder than the Numidians.

In Rome Total Realism I'd have to say Rome, Egypt, or Carthage.

I didnt like the Seleucids because thier spread out empire and the distance to capital decrease. I was thinking of moving the capital. For some reason the game crashed while i was playing the romans at 210 bc or around there. And the egyptians kept having negative cities.

well what difficulty are using, because the harder the difficulty the more tougher the enimies will be.
