Didnt really show anyhting much that we hadnt already seen or guessed. The person describing it was describing it to an idiot I think "look at the nice shiney armour"

He was like "let's watch them pummel these musketeers," then he just kept zooming out as they collided with each unit, so we never really got to see the collisions.

If any of us went to E3, we could bring back 100x better footage than what we have seen.

    Wow... no comment... elipses...

Anyway, at least we didn't see the stop/start charging this time. The one thing I didn't like though was how the one side of the unit was being smashed to pieces and the other side was kind of just standing there. I'd expect some reaction or at least the AI to order those men to attack or flee or something.

Yea, they just stood, and even then some of them fired their muskets off into the distance whilst others looked on.

would have been nice that (like others have said) we actually got to see collisions. He pretty much just pointed out what we already knew and didnt show us any real action.

I bet they set the AI to the easiest setting for that battle as all he seemed to be doing was showing off specific features like texture detail and the devastating effect of a cavalry charge.

I liked how the cavalry at least kept on going for a while longer, instead of just stopping on the charge.

remember that the game is barly in alpha so this which is being shown is very rough stuff. Also the games being shown is not as much showin the fans as much as showing everyone else that hasnt really shown much intrest in there product so far ( there tryin to advertise there company )>
Lastly the guy talkin through the video might of been told to try and not show certain things to hid bugs and clitchs.

Actually, it showed us something totally new. The UI at the buttom of the screen (or at least that I've seen. I'm yet to check out the other videos because totalwar.com is on the fritz with my computer and i've been busy). There's another new layout for formations (it looks like) it's in a circle. Also, everything looks more... plushie? cartoony? Can't quite put it into words. Of course, I mean none of this in a bad way.

I noticed tha too. It might be some addition, possibly having more variety of special actions of the units. Instead of simply having a "warcry" or flaming arrow, there might be some additonal stuff, but who knows. the video is really bad qual.

i like the way the musketeers were moving their heads anxiously(sp). but i think there's still room for improvement, such as i'd be cool if the musketeers on the left flank would prepare themselves, lean backword or so, to absorb the initial cavalry charge.

but overall it looks great imo

Moving their head anxously? Seems to me like they are for the most part just standing there while some just turn to face them.
