add buildings
i want to add buildings from bi to rtw 1.5 (with bi installed)
i am familiar with the export_descr_buildings file.
when i move a building from bi (eg cesspit) to rtw how many files in total have to be considered and what are the names of files/folders that contain building related material.
if possible i would be satisfied with just moving the building into the tech tree, it does not have to appear on the battlemap well unless you have to imply the building on both battlemap and techtree.
so what are the files i need to modify? i dont need a step by step guide, just all files that are involved. the tutorial in the guild i find a bit confusing.

Right, you need to edit export_descr_buildings.txt, make sure there are building cards for the bildings, just copy acrss the ones fromt he BI UI folder, add in descriptions for the buildings in export_buildings in the data\text folder. If you want them to appear on the battlemap it is a bit more work, but i can tell you how if you want to know.

well right now i just want to add some buildings to compensate for the long distances to capitals in that huge bare bone map. adding more law and happieness with new buildings instead of just boosting the old existing buildings. i allso would like to ad a new city level for barbarians.
however when im done with that i might get back to you and try to add them on the battlemap.
right now details are my enemy , must..focus...on large picture.. ,)

If you want to add in new city levels for the barbs, you will need to edit descr_cultures.txt, just look in the Bi version of this file and you'll soon work out what to add into thr RTw one.

i still have a prob with the buildings...i added the building and it appears in the tech tree..BUT
i dont get the pictures of the new building.
where is the connection between the building in the tech tree and the building pictures?
i know how it works with units but not with buildings
if i name a building picture eg #test
where will i have to assign the building the name test?
EDIT figured it out...first level building pic is called cesspit, rtw does not know a cesspit so i just renamed it sewers and it wörks
