Default could use some help gettin started here

    Allllllllllllllllllllrighty...

I'm new, so hello and <S> to all ya'll

ok, to the matters at hand...

I'm looing into skinng and/or modeling for R:TW v.1.5, now skinng is not entirely new to me I have done it before and with some success with other games, specifcly, Aces High II, now I'm not near as good as everybody else at skinning but I manage, I'm looking to getting better though, also as i have already mentioned I would like to try my hand at modeling, so ANY suggestions and tips would be very much appreciated.

Now, what I could really use is a free modeling program, I searched for one and have come across quite a few freebies, but I was wondering in ya'lls expert opinions which is the best.

heres a list of wut i've found so far...
    well, just go here: http://www.artzend.com/3D%20Programs.htm

    and here: http://www.3dlinks.com/links.cfm?cat...ubcategoryid=2
    that AC3d looks nice.

ALSO, I have GIMP, unfourtunetly, I've used pantshopX3 suite first, so I am rather disatisfied with GIMP, mainly because it lacks some of the tools that I've gotten used to using with PsP, I also found PsP to be a little easier to use, so if any1 knows of an alternative, or sumthing similar to PsP then plz let me know. If not, that ok, I'll manage.

and yes,I've read the tutorials, they are VERY useful. hats off to the guys that made 'em.

Yes it is expensive, but it is the only one you can use to do models for RTW.
