Have you checked this mod yet?It has its own unique story. It is a fantasy mod.And it also has things like centaurs which CoW do not have yet.

Our own Holy Pilgrim is actually pretty involved with that mod, so I can assume the rest of the COW team knows about what they have. CoW does have centaurs they are just bugged in their death animations so they were removed. One can still put them back in with a bit of knowhow though.

My problem with Dragonborn is unfortunately I can't play any sort of battle in it without it crashing. First it was the throwing axemen in the first release. now its some unknown reason with the newest release, on top of what appears to be a lack of sprites for some units which really hammers my FPS.

Regardless though, Dragonborn is looking very inventive and I look forward to picking it up once it is more complete, in the meantime though its all about that Third Age, CoW, and The Sundering!

What crashes are you experiencing, exactly?

I'd love to help you, as I'm not experiencing any crashes, whatsoever I want you to get the most out of the experience.

Did you know that there was a new release about a day or two ago? It fixes several issues, and there will be a new patch very, very soon.

I talked about it with Squeaks a bit, an issue I myself saw and a few people had was the throwing axemen in the first release would crash the game whenever they got ready to throw. Not sure if Squeaks fixed it though.

This newest release, the one with the Sun God faction, had a crash very similar, just when the troops were getting close to the actual infantry on infantry battle it crashed, perhaps it was a similar issue with another ranged unit. A log wasnt created so I just deleted the folder and went back to playing Third Age.

With the newest release though, what I did confirm was happening with my game, was a few units (The Griffons definately) were absent of sprites. So they were being completely rendered even while fully zoomed out, tearing up my FPS.

But hey, its not a big deal really, im more of a campaign man myself so its not like I was going to be pouring hours upon hours into it. You guys are doing great stuff over there and like I said, i look very much forward to the final release.

Now, this is the Call of Warhammer forum so as to not get wholly away from that, Sigmar! Yeah!
