    Default Mining income?

Playing as Carthage, I have built a precious metal mine in Carthago Nova and a metal mine in Siga (and that's just two of the locations where I have mines). Both locations have improved roads and improved trade ports with lots of traffic. CN has a city goldsmith and Siga has a city blacksmith. Annual reports show ZERO income from mining. I doubt that my miners are on strike, so what am I missing? Why no income from mining?

I needed a new heel for my shoe so I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on them. Give me five bees for a quarter you'd say. Now where were we, oh ya. The important thing was that I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have white onions because if the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...."

I beleive the income is reflected in the tax income bonus of 20 or 30 percent.

So the column for mining income on the financial screen is just a relic left over from vanilla RTW?

Yes, i think they made it that way so there wouldnt be a set income amount for a region/city. The mining income would be added to the tax income.

I don't know the specifics of MES, but I believe that it isn't reflected in tax but in trade income. The main influence we have on the economy is through this trade income, which allows us to make the late campaign more difficult. That's why I think that like most other branches of economy mining will also add trade income.
