I think under system in the control panel you will find this. Not entirely sure though if it will have all of the information you requested. Control panel is a goodplace to start though

Start_control panel_performance and maintenance_system. There you will find several tabs you can look through.
The information will be useful but limited, but its a start. We'll need to know more info(hopefully you will find it in system info!) about what system you have to help you further. Anybody else have a trick or two for him?

When you boot up, you should see a message telling you to press this key or that (F1, F2, F4, F8, ESC, or whatever; it depends on your BIOS) to enter a troubleshooting or machine adjustment mode. Follow the instructions and you should end up in a series of screens that allow you to make low-level adjustments to your machine. Most, if not all, of the information you seek can be gleaned from these screens. (DON'T make adjustments or save settings unless you know exactly what you are doing.)
