What became of the section that, for a period, listed dead mods? I think it was under HOSTED COMMUNITY PROJECTS. I'd like to be able to keep track of mods...even if they are dead, such as Antiquity:TW and TW:The Levant.

I don't know, i don't think there has even been a thread devoted to dead mods, there would be a lot of them, the only lists i know of know are the list of major playable mods, and the list of mods in development but they have not been updated in some time.

The question wheater or not a mod is dead or alive is not the most relevant one. The best question is: which mods are zombie mods? You recognise a zombie mod by:
a. It looks kind of alive, but when you examine it a little closer, you'll clearly see that it's dead.
b. If asked, the zombie mod will say that it's still alive and that the rotten flesh is just a "transition thing" before it get's better. Don't trust it - it's dead all right!
c. The zombie mod is a treacherous thing, it wants to be regarded as living and will attack and bite those who claim that it's actually dead.
I know several zombie mods - most of us do - but since I for one don't want to get bitten, I'll keep my mouth shut.

Well, like I said, I don't fancy a bite wound, but here's a few other hints on how to spot them:
- It first start to complain about technical difficulties.
- Then it complains about private issues concearning their members ( often school ).
- Then they announce that their mod will not feature things they first announced, like a campaign, new buildings, new music, new units etc and most likely be delayed.
- Then the previews stops coming ( but the zombie keeps saying that they´re just "delayed a bit" ).
- Then the forum dies out of lack of interest.
- When someone finds their way to the desolate forum and pops the lethal question: "Are you dead?", it swiftly says no and gives a fairly reasonable answer to why it kind of looks dead, but really isn't.
Beware! Even if it looks like the mod you used to love and wait for, it will only drag you down, bite you and leave you disappointed.
