This is good news indeed! I'm striving to keep up this good work and finish a great modification for BI, which I hope will bring not only those who like the timeline but also people who want to see a new view of gameplay.

Until now, I only did a small step in expanding the gameplay and I think this was the ZoR system and expanded map in BI. At the time AoD 1.0 (AC BI) was realeased I didn't even knew how to make unit cards for cavalry or exporting a model with 3ds Max. I learned 3ds Max, after having offered to help the RTR team and noticed that I didn't had proper models. From all this perhaps you noticed that I wasn't originally a "role-model member" but the need for them teached me how to do it, and some help from Caius as well. In the meantime I started to enjoy the idea of being a modeller and 3ds Max so that now I work carefully each unit , and this is a cause why I had to delay AoD mod a bit .

Since the beginning of time, I started to learn a bit of modding while waiting for RTR 6, and my first modding idea was a "thing" called Dacia: Total History based on RTR 6.0 (not gold) based on the 80BC, imperial period and the height of Kingdom of Dacia, but this only had a poor quality beta and the full version was never released since a mapping CTD issue made me give up modding for one or two weeks and end the project. Still, the northern expanded map I released in 1.0c was made while working for DTH. After RTW 1.3 was released, not having brought BI, I wanted to make a big project (default timeline, called RTW "Gold Edition" ) to make people not to buy Bi, only a signature was released from it .

A nice tool I made but which wasn't too much appreciated due to lack of promotion perhaps was the FileParser (here) for Vercingetorix's Xpak. Still in my signature, but never given attention. It only helps people use Vercingetorix's Xpak easily for creating pak files (selecting and generating batch files).

A remake for Dacia Total History was later released with the name RTR - Heirs of Atlantis, this time not changing timeline and features too much but being just a faction-conversion mod for RTR 6.2 (Historical Gaeto-Dacians instead of Thrace). It's currently outdated but I'll be tending to release something new for RTRE after they release their final version (See here).

My AC Barbarian Invasion (Arb's BI) project, now known as AoD:Tw, started two hours after buying Bi, not having released any promotional stuff. I don't really like the idea of promotion and prefer work instead, I don't like pride, like some other Mods do. But... what can I do? If there would have been no previews nobody would have known of my work. After the school is finished I hope the mod will be finished to though I had some problems with school and RL generally (always had them).

I am really grateful if you want to make me a Civitate and if you think I deserve this then let it be. I don't think it's me who feels like being I should be civitate, I am a civitate if you and the community thinks I deserve this acutally, better said, if I becamed a civitate through my works .

    Farewell,
    Arbaces.

I feel this one should come through. These days, there is a lack of dedicated modders joining the ranks of civitates, and he is as much a contributer to this site as any discussion based civitate. On top of that, he is a friendly, helpful member outside of his mod forum. In my opinion, he is a role-model for the community: Friendly and Talented.

    What say you?

Read the Para, I was impressed. Yes.
Well, if I, Belisarius, the Black Prince, and you all agree on something, I really don't think there can be any further discussion.

Oi! He's been eligible for over a week now! I'm sorry say this but I'm a little miffed, even considering civitates put up for vote After Arbaces has, and after he was eligible, have been given their rank and he hasn't!

I have PMed both consuls (ok, one former consul and one current) and our Imperator, and, well, sorry for the double post, but nothing's gotten done.

Yeah, sorry if I sound a little, eh, impatient. I feel bad for telling him he's passed and then a week later, nada. I also understand you admins tend to have huge inboxes and whatnot, so I can imagine the message may not have made it.
