Seeing as I am studying this in English Litearture at the moment, and currently adding the last bits to my major 6 page essay, I would like to see what other think of it. Although it has been hailed as a great pice of art, i found it incredibly boring, even more boring than playin as the Romans again and again. So what have others though of it?

Meh. When I read it, I thought it was ok. Not too bad.

Needed more car-chases and terrorist-plots in it. I liked the fact that Darcy first got turned on by Lizzie when he saw her flushed and sweaty from her brisk walk in the countryside - he digs them nasty.

It is one of the classics of English Literature and I find to be in many instances amusing and witty. You just have to love Mr Collins.

Never read it myself. I do find books from this period hard to read. I just find they are mostly about pompous aristocrats and servant girls who want to have their way with said people...very boring indeed. At least in my opinion from having to sit and read 5-6 in my time.

The most exciting thing that happens in Pride and Prejudice is someone sneezing. I'm sorry to any English literature enthusiasts here that try to find hidden messages and metaphors in everything they read but it was incredibly boring.

I'm going to have to agree with Clunky here - It needed more car-chases and terrorist-plots in it. A bit like 24.
