    Romans as you will soon see with the next preview are united as a Nation , but by gameplay are divided into Gentes ..... The starting date is 22 BC the end date is 69 AD....

    the game starts in 220 BC and there are still the senate, the julii, the cornelii (scipii) and the valerii (brutii)

    EDIT: posted only a few seconds after you -_-

    sure that it starts in 22 BC?

    I was wondering how long the gameplay will be, turns out to be a reform at 14 BC and 0 AD.
    So we actually get to play with those units.

    220 BC --- 107 BC = 226 turns to first reform

    this is a changing reform, makes obsolete the previous units ...

    107 BC -- 27 BC = 160 turns to second reform

    this is a partially changing reform, makes obsolete some of the previous units ...

    27 BC -- 0 AD = 54 turns to third reform

    this is an adding reform, makes additions to the previous units ...

    138 turns more to end of the game time .....
