how to play as Huns and other hords?

i started my first game with Huns. they are quite interesting, but i have never played a hord faction before, so i dont know really howmany cities should i robbed and so on yet.
what advice can you give me (and others, who will read this thread), to improve my playing skills and so?

All that you really need to do is decide where you want to settle. Once you know where you would like to start your nation, move there, sacking every city on the way. Oh, and when using hordes I ususally take a turn to reorganize my units, since family members usually end up stacked in one or two of your armies. Spread them out and evenly disperse troops so that you can use multiple armies to besiege cities and each army can hold its own.

As a horde invading the Romans, never underestimate them! Do not try to overflow into the WRE. Once you settle your hordes dissapear, and they also dissaper over time as well. Only attack 1 or 2 cities at a time.

As the Huns, move down to the Greek cities of the ERE and pillage everything from there to Northern Italy - you can even pillage Rome itself. DO NOT settle anywhere yet. Move to the Iberian peninsula and settle there after pillaging the cities there as well. From there, launch your attacks.

The Huns have a rather weak economy once you have settled and because of this you should make sure that the cities you pillage are wealthy, examples of such cities are athens, sparta rome and soforth

really? huns have weak economy? i thought all factions have about the same economic power, but the cities are different....

well i have a lot of experience plaing as the Vandals...

to play as a horde there are some things to remember:
1. Never keep your armys more away from eachother than they can move on one turn
2. Always remember only to sack wealthy citys(dont waste your army on a town)
3. Never hire mecenaries, they destroy your economi very fast(i'v tried it)
3. settle in one of the citys u need in your victory condition...

Tip: if you are playing a faction that can horde from start(Franks, Goths, sarmatians... etc.)
and decide to horde and abandon your capital... when your leave it there is no troops... sack it with one army to earn 5000-6000 denarii FREE...

I think you must sack every city you see.And you must know what you want.But i recommend beating ERE.They cannot resistance.You can easily beat Vandals after capturing greek and balkanic cities.(i did)
