Major factions, minor factions

I always wondered which is the complete list of the minor and major factions in MP. I have a partial list, but nothing complete:

Major:

Rome
Macedon
Seleucid Empire
Carthage
Pontus
Egypt
Britons
Greek City-States
Armenia

Minor:
Gaul
Spain
Dacia

Now the factions I don't know where to put are:
Parthia (I have a feeling its a major faction, but some people say otherwise)
Scythia (Same as Parthia)
Germania
Thrace
Numidia

Could somebody help me with the list, please?

Greece is weird because it can lose to low tier factions but beat egypt/brits/pont...the best factions.

Yeah you can crush them with thrace

I think thrice is a major faction because of there mix if beast inf good militia cav and not shabby ranged units

I know, but I'm not really sure. However I use Thrace to counter Armenia and sometimes even Greece, but they got nothing on Rome and chariot factions.

Send Thrace, Numidia, Spain, Gaul, to the lower tier.

I would put dacia and germany in neither

Everyone else is a major faction.

Major? What exactly does that mean? All factions have other factions that they dominate and other factions that dominate them.

By major I mean factions that have good possibilities of beating the other factions; example although most of the times Armenia beats Rome, Rome can still beat Armenia on certain occasions. However a minor faction cannot do that.

@caesar_37th I don't really think that Thrace is really low tier. For now I'll put it in the "Neither" category.

But I have a suggestion. Maybe you should split the factions into supreme, average, and weak/below average. For better accuracy, and no "neither" group. Just my opinion, but I feel some of the Major factions don't belong in major, and at the same time don't belong in minor.

Pontus is extremely good.

Cappadocian cav is the second best cav and has the similar stats to catas, chariot archers, pikemen, scythe chariots, jav cav. a very potent mix.

15 cwb Pontus is a definite major. Only Brits and Egypt are better. Diversity of units as rtw fan points out means it can take on any faction with a fair chance to win.

I would rank HHMs and Praetorians above them due to speed and price. Sadly, they don't have stats similar to catas, because they lack the one thing that makes catas perhaps the greatest unit to ever exist. Cappadocians lack a mace, thus an ap attack, and because of that they are not that great.

yes but their charge will still shatter lines, and they will beat praetorians.

Pontus is a very good faction.

Also, attack on cappas/catas is relatively low for a heavy cav unit. Which is another reason why the catas mace is so important, coupled with their high defense.

Numidia is Average!!!!! (well, IMO it can certainly beat the living crap out of Spain and gaul)

It beats Greece, Germs, Thrace(Opinion), And CAN beat almost everything but charz and rome.
