Game crashes each time I use Axethrowers

hey, I recently downloaded 3.0 and 3.1 to try this out again after a long break, started as the dwarves and have experienced no problems, untill I started recruiting 2 axethrowers and sendt them to gundabar with the rest of my army. the battle goes good, never lagg or anything, but at the exact momemt the dwarven axethrowers are about to let go of their axes - the game crashes.

This has happened 4 times in a row now - hence if I want to play I cannot use the axethrowers. How do I fix this? I don't feel like going an entire game without the ability to use one of the dwarves few ranged units.

3.1 supposedly fixed that. Are you sure you installed it correct?

yup, I installed everything last night, first part 1 and 2, then 3.1, and when I start the game it says 3.1 aswell.

I did, been playing on it for the last hour, but still - if I use axethrowers and try to use em, it crashes.

Than, dont usew axetrowers, or wipe out those filthy dwarfs and play as humans or elfs..

Obviously your messed something up when installing 3.1, does your loading screen when you launch the game say 3.1?

There was also a temporary fix that fixed this problem. Worked perfect for me, tho i dont know if 3.1 patch overwrite this small fix thingy.

Yes, 3.1 was supposed to fix the issue with Dwarven Axethrowers. Here is the manual fix people were using before 3.1.
