Default Mithlond Nobles and Eregion Smiths

What are the requirements for both? Currently in my campaign mithlond is a minor city, and upgraded barracks.... still nothing

Eregion on the other hand.... i have no idea where this is??

Any one who played high elves willing to share their stories?

For both i think you need the second barracks event and eregion is the region under Imladris

Eregion is the region through which the fellowship passed on there way to Moria. The elves lived there in the 2nd age before being destroyed by Sauron, hence why it's used in the elven reunification submod.

As for your question, find Ost-in-Edhil. That's the region you need.

I'm almost positive they have to be huge cities... 26,000 pop I think? I set tax rates on low in my last campaign for HE and was 1000 or so pop away before I restarted my campaign... This was at 190 turns though. It's a long wait. You also need the royal barracks I believe (the barracks upgrade for the huge city)

im not sure about mithlond warriors, but for the smiths, i think you need a large city and gwaith-i-mirdan, the latter requires enough guild points, so if you have an appropriate city lvl, and other req's (i think lindon, but i havent done it yet for 3.1) and enough guild points (to do this, you must build a bunch of different black smith (and varying lvls of upgrades) in erigion. each time you do you get guild points, but each turn you loose some)

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but this post comes up at the top of a google search, so...

For Mithlond Nobles: Build Barracks (level 3) in Mithlond.

    For Eregion Smiths:
    1. Upgrade Ost-in-Edhil to a Minor City
    2. Build 3 levels of blacksmith in Ost-in-Edhil
    3. Let treasury grow larger than 10k.
    4. Build blacksmiths in other cities. A rebuilt Gwaith-i-Mirdain guild will eventually be offered. Build it.
    5. Grow culture in Ost-in-Edhil to at least 80% Elvish.
Then, smash some trolls with your shiny new armor piercing tanks!

    Notes for Nerds:

Each different type of guild has its own point system, defined in the export_descr_guilds text file. You EARN guilds by doing things that earn guild points, as defined in this file.
You earn Gwaith-i-Mirdain guild points by building blacksmiths, earning 25-->75-->150-->70 points for the blacksmith series of buildings, if they are built in this settlement. You need 250 points to upgrade the guild.
Unfortunately, all guilds LOSE 1 point per turn after turn 45. You'll probably have lost a lot of points since turn 45. (I'm pretty sure point totals can go negative...) Luckily, you also gain 1-4 points for each blacksmith built in a different region, and 70 points for the heavy armourer in Ost-in-Edhil. So, build a lot of blacksmiths...

Some have noted that the level 1 Gwaith-i-Mirdain guild requires 1000000 guild points. True, but who cares. The ruins ARE the level 1 guild, and it's already there on turn 1. The level two guild requires 250 points - and that is what matters.

If you're really desperate, try smashing your blacksmith in Ost-in-Edhil and rebuilding the series. You don't lose any points for destroying the buildings, and you'll gain them all again. :-)

    Thanks!

This has got to be one of the best mods I've ever seen, for any game. (As a long time WoW raider, that's saying a lot! ) Huge props to the authors for producing this.
