Rome Total War Fraps Problem! (Need Help)
Im currently planning on casting some TW but Fraps is chugging on RTW whenever I try and record a replay. It cant be my PC, cause I record NTW, ETW & Shogun at the highest settings. If someone can help me with this problem, a great award will await you.

It may be your PC because RTW because of it's age is only able to utilize one core.

Probably a few months too late but I had the same problem, dropped my resolution to 1600 x 900 and now I can record smoothly at around 30 fps

My understanding is the best results can be gained by recording onto an internal hard drive that does not contain the game being played.
I use a Solid State Drive (SSD) from a PC that I had to scrap.
R:TW can be a bit marginal on performance anyway due to the age of the engine as it dates from before 2004.
