    Some small suggestions about ships:

    1st
    It is not truely needed, but I think it would be cool if you (modders) would change your mind over the ships of the bad factions.
    I know, you had your reasons to absolutely deny ships to the Orc-factions.

    This may be right in a contextual way, and if you look at OoG and OotMM there is very seldom a need of ships...
    But if you look at Isengard and Mordor, the things are a bit different.

    [Example]
    You are Isengard and driving back Gondor. Now Gondor owns Tolfalas (I know most often it is Harrad -> 2nd).
    Isengard can'T build ships => you can't take Goben Tolfalas. that's a bit annoying.]

    My arguments for ships:
    - Isengard and Mordor both have men in their service (if orcs really aren't abled to build ships). I know, Isengards are a mountain- not a sea-folk, but men can learn, at least under Sarumans/Saurons advice.
    - and for the orc-factions. they have men as well (Hillmen/Rhudaur)
    - I don't want to have them building a mighty fleet, so maybe invent a shiptype for them that is absolutely crappy (very low attack and defense). They don't need a big ship-roster. Dúnedain, HighElves and Harrad stay the naval powers, but they should be abled to build some small transport-vessels.
    - perhaps even reduce the movement-points for those transport-ships to depict their bad ship-builder-abilities.
    - and make them very rare (all 20turns or sth. like that) and expensive to build
    - and in the same breath: degrade Rhûn and Silvan Elves to medium seafaring folks. (if I'm right, both can build the same ships as their respectively north-western and southern counterparts) They should be abled to build only small or mid-tier ships, too.
    - and make Dale, Rohan and Eriador only small (but not so slow and crappy as the orcs) boats available (this changes for Eriador with the conversion to Arnor)

    2nd
    In 3.2 Harrad allways invades Goben Tolfalas.
    Gondor doesn't even try an attempt. Perhaps it is possible that you try to make Gondor better acting via Navy. Like you did with Harrad. they act pretty well around Tolfalas.

    3rd
    you made the rivers shipable, but you made it impossible to build ships in the harbours. I know, this is for Rhûn and Dale not spamming the inland waters with fleets.
    But you could achieve that by making ships for them very rare (all 20turns or sth. like that, the same as with the orcs).
    I would really like to use the rivers as waterways. (Anduin and Sea of Rhûn).
    and btw we could then accomplish the "blockade-port"-missions in this area.

    just some thoughts of mine... maybe you can overthink that. thx

    I've only played once so far, and it is MOS mod, but just before I vassaled Isengard, I sank a ship with nearly a fullstack of Isengard troops trying to sneak its way into my lightly defended rear (Lindon). I was rather surprised, since I did not see that they had any costal settlements, and when I first saw the ship, I thought it was a Haradrim fleet I had been hunting down. Then I clicked on it and it was filled with Isengard Orcs. Maybe the AI was recruiting Merc ships?

    Default Carrock battle - anyone fought it?

    Anyone tried to fight a battle there?
    Map that loads is wierd. It seems that none of the sides can move its trops due to "terrain obstructed" message.








    It just came to me: how about Carrock custom map? Where there any plans of adding it to TATW?

    Yup, I fought it once, don't know if I reported it here or wether I forgot. Really annoying to just have your troops stand there unable to do anything.

    Did you initiate the battle? I've never had the AI attack me if I was on Carrock.
    Maybe the bug is from the hill being too high? xD

    The hill too high, the water around it, it could by anything. Maybe the picture on the campaign map is the reason why it acts so weird. Does the Carrock have a custom tile?

    Just an idea: You should create a Dol Amroth special settlement, like you have done with Edoras or Rivendell. It would be great to have that city with new unique characteristics. Also, perhaps some new gondorian buildings, for the gondorian generic settlements of course, so in that way they will not look too similar to the original game which is the base of this marvelous mod (if i´m saying something stupid, please have patience, since i´m basing my opinions on the several threads and images found in this forum and i´ve not yet played neither the game nor this mod).
    Thanks for this mod and cheers from Argentina, to some extent the land of Rohirrims . Next week once i receive at home my M2TW+Kingdoms i´ll post my first impressions in the pertinent thread... by now, congratulations for the masterpiece created

    Leo already posted some pictures of his version of a custom Dol Amroth, another user (can't remember his name) also posted a huge version of Dol Amroth.

    It's going to be pretty awesome to both launch pirate raids on Dol Amroth and defend Dol Amroth from the corsairs of Umbar.

    Right now i´m thinking of a unique Esgaroth for Dale or even the Grey Havens for High Elves.... great addition would they be
    It would be great to have every faction with at least a unique settlement.

    I think this unit by GW could be a great addition to the Dwarven roster, based off the Hobbit heavy Erebor infantry.
    The name Grim Hammers is totally lame, but the look...

    Icon3 Bugs and suggestions

    I played for a while and I noticed some things that are unimplemented and without sense. I loved the mod but the battle mode needs some improves:
    -The soundtrack need the famous "Black Rider" music and the one when the army of uruk-hai invade Helm's Deep.
    -In Erebor, before entering the King's Chamber, there is a small path that is "blocked" without a specific reason.
    -Rework the army spawns in the Helm's Deep siege please, it's without sense the army in the top of the hill.
    -Trolls could be slower to obey and charging without orders. They could be more slower too...
    -If you want pictures of these stuffs or new suggestions PM me please. I have the whole LOTR soundtrack of the first movie. Mulmakills are fast but their archers don't shoot at my units. Mulmakils could be used as siege tower to some units and 2 types of mulmaks could be disponible, one with archers and another alike this one (actual one).
