    Hi
    I would like to change recruiting time of some units, is it possible? and how shall I do it?

    Yes, that's possible.

    You must open export_descr_unit and change the marked number(turns to recruit).
    You will find export_descr_unit in your data-folder.

    Yes, it's possible. The unit recruitment time can be edited in the export_descr_unit.txt file.

    Remember to back-up your files, and also that tampering with the EDU will likely unbalance the gameplay.

    Thanks guys, but I dont know which column change.
    Is it stat_cost and the first number? Is the fist number the number of turns to recruit?

    can someone help me? i changed the recruitment-time of every unit to zero turns, but now the game won't start

    You're asking for truble!!
    If you change the time to '0' for every unit, you get another game, this is no more SAJ! and it is totally unbalanced!!!!

    IMHO the recruitment time collides with the scripts! but really I do not know! Reinstall!
    Advice: when you change something, make a backup copy of the game or, if the change is small, of the file you changed!!

    i luckily have a backup ok, i'll never do this again, for the gods of total war gaming shall never be unsatified with me again

    Well! I think Pallade Athena was near you, and inspired your poor mind when you made your back up files, remember to burn incense for her suggestions mumbling litanies of thanksgiving the the Goddess!

    I do the same rite every time I remember to make backup files, before my silly and frequently unfortunate mods !

    I changed the times for Legiones Comitatenses, Julianus said he could not add new units and for that reason he could not add new Legiones C., so I reduced their recruitments times and this is IMO quite historical! (well I reduced also the times for Palatina , but this is a secret! Do not tell anyone! )
