Re: ERE general commanding infantry?
Could you provide more details on the issue?
Where did you get that general from? Adoption, birth or maybe he was precoded on the map from the beginning?

Re: ERE general commanding infantry?
Well first I would like to say thanx for the quick response Wudang clown. I'm not quite sure but I think its an adopted general because I adopted several the first few turns because the adoption script kept coming up every turn change. That has stopped in the last few turns and the fact that the general commanded swordsmen didn't effect my game at all, but I just want to know if somethings wrong because I'm fussy about my Total War games and mods.thanx again for the support for these games because they're the BEST!!!

Re: ERE general commanding infantry?
I've seen a few generals with unconventional bodyguard units. For example, in my Ghanzavid campaign I fought some Ghorid generals with Ghulam Horse Archer bodyguards instead of Emir's Guard. I assumed this was intentional, though.

Re: ERE general commanding infantry?
there are some generals who have unique bodyguards, the guy you are talking about starts in the fortress in cyprus? He has a bodyguard of spathatoi
Another example is a georgian general who has a bodyguard of monaspa lancers... I think he starts in sokhumi
