IBFD german?
Hi there,
first of all I want to thank all of the producers of the IB-series. Really great work and way better than the originial.
As the game is now in english (at least most of the written stuff; audio is still original), I wonder if there is any patch or mod (or what to call it) that can make the text back to german. Or can I change it myself in the game-data?
Regards,
Miglanz

Re: IBFD german?
Hey,
Where can I find and edit the .txt-data of the events-windows (i.e. End of round report etc.) or the attributes that the characters get? Because the translations of those do already exist somewhere in the folder, so it would be just a matter of copy&paste, wouldn't it?
Regards,
Miglanz

Re: IBFD german?
Thanks Blatta,
@Minglaz:
Jibt nichts Einfacheres:
That's it

So I just found both text-datas, the ones of BI in german, the ones of IBFD in english: now, would it work, if I just copy all of the german BI stuff into the according IBFD text-data? Or are there some totally new events or something like that coming up in IBFD?
Thanks in advance,
Miglanz

Re: IBFD german?
Nono!
That wouldn't work out!
Actually some files that were unchanged would work but others would give you crashes.
If you want more detailed info and are seriously interested in translating it pm me, I ll explain then
