Hello once again people of the EB community.

I got a new video card and decided it was time to remake ye olde jagged EB Films/intros. I thought they deserved their own ordered and single thread. You can also download them and put them in your game, if you so want, I will upload them.

So here we are. (Only the NEW) EB Films incoming:

I will be unavailable to work again until January, but if people want to help me out with some info or lines or sequences, etc. You can still do so.

it was kinda boring and I don't understood what it means anyway since the text are somewat... not so in line with video, (farmers, farmers? and no battle scenes that wasn't involving throwing javelins) maybe it would be better when you put in some burning buildings or make clear each enemies mentioned (not just "the one who oppose us and their barbarian kin"

In any case, I'll try to do something more epic later, it's just an intro, and roman campaigns are quite boring.

I also have to say that the Roman intro is somewhat lame atm. There's nothing much happening, the Romans seem too peace-loving and defensive imo. That may be true for the poor masses, but the elite all in all wasn't. And why did you call them sons of Jupiter? After all it's Mars who's the father of Romulus and Remus. The vanilla Rome intros feature some nice shots of Roma and marching troops; most of the units and the commentary are crap though.

The Lusotannan intro is far better imo. Good shots, good music and an overall martial atmosphere. Maybe a little more background info on the faction would be nice. Like some info on their history with the Romans (and prior to that the Carthaginians?), accompanied by shots of large Roman armies marching into a Lusitanian ambush perhaps.

I know it is, but you always have to have the standard coming of age roman intro. Like coders need to have the standard add a new unit, and artist the standard signature.

It's not something I changed a lot from the first roman intro, as it was a remake. But certainly the music compelled me to do the poorer classes video (Blame roman leninism).

I'll look into the mars thing, possibly change it when I get back.

I will do another one, a better one. But you can't really call me a bad director, you said the peaceful ambience was true for the poor masses. And guess who the focus of the video was?
