Default Well Steam, you've done it again.

Steam used to work fine before on my laptop. Then it suddenly stopped working. If I click on the Steam icon in the taskbar, it just gets highlighted and then slowly fades. Then, some 2-3 hours after I turned the laptop on, it shows the "Unable to connect to the Steam Network" error. My Internet connection is perfectly fine by the way, and I've checked a thousand times. D2D works perfectly. I can play Assassin's Creed:Revelations from the Program Files, but it doesn't work for R:TW Gold Edition, Medieval 2:Total War, R:TW Alexander, Shogun 2:Total War and Empire:Total War(The last two games I did not buy online, btw). Can anyone help?

Delete the clientregistry.blob, then try it.

    Thanks, it's working fine now.

    Well, sort of.

13 KB/S! This will never be finished. It's 16,500MB by the way.
I've tried changing the download region. It didn't work. Any help?

You won't download any faster, then. Even the old 56kb modem I used for years was not much faster with less traffic on the internet or the old Bulletin Board services.

    Oh.

Guess I'll have to wait for about 10-12 days for this thing to download. Or till my wireless connection is fixed(I honestly don't know anything about computers and stuff). Anyway, thanks, bro.

Good luck getting your wireless fixed and you're welcome. Merry Christmas.
