    Default Constant diseases and plagues

Ive been playing on turn 140 now and Ive noticed their has been constant and I mean constant, and when I mean constant, constant plagues. They last around 4-5 turns in that city, and after that plague, after 2 turns, another plague will happen and where it happens seems pretty random. So far Ive been hit my plagues 8 times and when it hits my capital, .

Is it normal for this much plagues to occur? I'm thinking its a script as it happens predictably and OFTEN.

Is there a way too lessen it?

Does the rampant plague eventually end or lessen?

    Thanks for reading, plz answer

The only scripted plagues are the Black Death events which you get notified of. Characters spread the plague so it could be a spy who is spreading it between settlements.

Put a spy in that city, i reckon there is an enemy spy in your city that has the plague and everytime that spy leaves then re-enters that city it gets the plague.

Alas, in historical context Europe was to be hit by the plague for many years yet, until i think about 1800 it would be a common disease, one that would last for a few years in a certain place then come back later, wasnt a fun time to live in such areas.

Good thing the game aint even near historical accuracy, its a total war game not a simulator(or paradox game).

Paradox games don't even follow true history anymore. EU3 and HOI3 did away with scripted events. Same with Victoria 2. I mean they have a few and some situations etc. but by and large they axed them. Kinda lame I thought. You really learn alot playing EU2 with the AGCEEP mod.
"When I lead my army against Baghdad in anger, whether you hide in heaven or in earth, I will bring you down from the spinning spheres; I will toss you in the air like a lion. I will leave no one alive in your realm; I will burn your city, your land, your self. If you wish to spare yourself and your venerable family, give heed to my advice with the ear of intelligence. If you do not, you will see what God has willed." -Hülegü, the "Destroyer of Baghdad"
