Can't open files

I downloaded it but whenever I double-click or select open, it doesn't do anything. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to re-download it....

If you are referring to the downloaded install files, give it some time, at least 5 minutes, before giving up.

Yes, that is what I am talking about. I swear I have given them a lot of time but I will try again.

Try right-clicking on the file and select 'run as administrator' from the menu. If that still doesn't work you may have to download the file again, but first I would restart your system if you have not done so already.
