Default Question regarding use of gladii

As I'm no expert on the ancient Romans, I would like to know which of the below listed Roman units use a gladius and which only use a normal sword, shortsword or other kind of sword - both historically in RL and regarding their appearance in EB. (sorry for suggesting EB might represent the one or other unit a little ahistoric... shame on me, I know)

I've made a list of all Roman units that actually have a sword as primary or secondary weapon. Atm I assume the blue units definitely use a gladius, the red ones surely do not and with the green ones I'm not sure. (for unit stats and unit descriptions paste the unit's name in the tool here)

Any Rome experts out there? Or knowledgable team members with some time to spare? Does that list / my colour-coded categorisation look right or are there mistakes? Help needed especially for the units in green letters.

NOTE: I UPDATED THE LIST/COLOURES AFTER POST #3!

Roman units (+ 1 Iberian unit) that use a sword, and their export_units.txt description describes it as gladius:

export_units.txt description of sword: "gladius hispaniensis"
    - Dunaminica (Celtiberian Heavy Infantry) > sword with 0.13 lethality (pic attached)
    - Hastati (Polybian Medium Infantry Maniple) > sword with 0.13 lethality
    - Principes (Polybian Heavy Infantry Maniple)
    > sword with 0.13 lethality (pic attached)

export_units.txt description of sword: only "gladius"
    - Cohors Reformata (Post Marian Legionary Cohort) > sword with 0.13 lethality
    - Cohors Evocata (Post Marian Reenlisted Veterans Cohort)
    > sword with 0.13 lethality
    - Prima Cohors Reformata (Marian Legionary First Cohort)
    > sword with 0.13 lethality
    - Cohors Validvm Avxiliarivm (Imperial Heavy Auxiliary Infantry Cohort) [Eastern]
    > sword with 0.11 lethality - perhaps they actually use a kopis and the team forgot to add the ap ability and change the unit describtion; it does look very much like a kopis (see attached pic)
    - Cohors Sagittariorvm Levantinorvm (Imperial Eastern Archer Auxilia) > sword with 0.13 lethality - perhaps they only use a 'normal' sword as it looks rather long and slim (see attached pic); maybe the 'gladius' in the unit description is only used as Latin term for sword, but doesn't mean they actually use a Roman type gladius-sword

export_units.txt description of sword: "mainz gladius"
    - Prima Cohors Imperatoria (Imperial First Cohort) > sword with 0.13 lethality
    - Cohors Imperatoria (Imperial Legionary Cohort)
    > sword with 0.13 lethality
    - Cohors Praetoriana (Cohort of the Imperial Praetorian Guard)
    > sword with 0.13 lethality (pic attached)

export_units.txt description of sword: "mainz gladius or celtic style longsword"
    - Eqvites Singvlares (Picked General's Guard Cavalry) > sword with 0.13 lethality - probably they used a 'normal', longer kind of sword and not the short mainz gladius; a gladius is most likely to short to be efficient when fighting from horseback (same goes for the other equites below of course)

Roman units that use a sword, but the export_units.txt description doesn't describe it as gladius:

    - Hastati (Camillan Medium Infantry Maniple) > 0.1 lethality / description: "Italic shortsword"
    - Velites (Polybian Skirmishers)
    > 0.1 lethality / description: "shortsword"
    - Eqvites Romani (Camillan Roman Citizen Cavalry) > 0.13 lethality / description: "sword"
    - Eqvites Romani (Polybian Roman Citizen Cavalry) > 0.13 lethality / description: "sword"
    - Eqvites Consvlares (Republican Consular Guard Cavalry)
    > 0.13 lethality / description: "sword"
    - Pedites Extraordinarii (Elite Heavy Infantry of the Italic Allies) > 0.11 lethality +ap / description: "kopis"
    - Eqvites Extraordinarii (Elite Heavy Cavalry of the Italic Allies)
    > 0.11 lethality +ap / description: "kopis"
    - Eqvites Thracvm (Thracian Auxiliary Cavalry) > 0.13 lethality / description: "sword" - as they are equipped with Roman armour and shields it's plausible that they also use the gladius?
    - Eqvites Hispanorvm (Hispanic Auxiliary Cavalry) > 0.11 lethality +ap / description: "falcata"

The cavalry sword was IIRC longer and in fact for quite a long time the cavalry used falcatas. I'm not sure about the auxilia, but it's quite probable they had gladii. It would make sense at least

I had a look at the cavalry's swords in battle and they do look longer than the sword/gladius that for example the polybian princeps use. So I guess it's fair to say all cavalry used 'normal', long swords instead of the short gladius (and perhaps the Eqvites Singvlares use a kind of longsword instead of the mainz gladius; their description offers both options).
With the two auxilia units I would agree, that it's plausible they had a gladius as they were equipped by the Roman state/commander I assume. Though their unit models (see pics in OP) suggests otherwise. I'm still unsure about them.

    Thx for the input!

EDIT: I updated the list / it's colours in the OP.
