Default Bruce Campbell - Army of Darkness.

3 Words : Best movie Ever

Just seen recently and I am impressed, it is a good comedy and good action movie on backdrop of fantasy.

But even though it is a comedy it is not goofy, Bruce Campbell is genuinely kickass in this movie and the practical effect used for the Army of Darkness feel real and give life to the movie.

I leave you with a small video clip and recomend this one for everyone, check it out.

    I prefer Evil Dead 2.

Both were epic, I watched ED2 a long time ago so I can't remember everything, but I think AoD was more inane ridiculousness and gibberish, and that made it a better film. Plenty of classic scenes such as:

    The Boomstick

    Klaatu, Barada...

    "Shop smart. Shop S-mart."

Proud patron of Derpy Hooves, Audacia, Lordsith, Frodo45127 and Sir Adrian.

Army of Darkness is definitley one of the all time classic's. Well made and definitely right in Bruce Cambell's wheeelhouse as an actor.

Now can you'all name the bit actor here who went on to be one of the Vilians in "Kingdom of Heaven" and nowdays is a celebrated actor?

Movie is legendary for me. It was a lot more light hearted and comedy based than Evil Dead, definitely cheesy and definitely great.

I find the poll faulty in that I can't vote for both "Yes" and "Campbell FTW". The latter is the better option so that is where my vote goes.

Aside: as cool as Army of Darkness is, his best role is Sam Axe in Burn Notice. Though there is a possibility of being biased because for one i get to see him act every week, the other I don't.

One thing is for certain: the more profoundly baffled you have been in your life, the more open your mind becomes to new ideas.
