So the first thing I saw of this site was the download section, which was full of great skin packs, mini mods and such, and I started trying them out and putting them together. With this, naturally, came the need of help from more experienced modders, and simply the need to talk to like-minded people, to other Rome fanatics... So about one week after my search for downloads had lead me here, I joined the forum.
First thing I have to say, is that this forum is different from other forums in many ways. The first thing you notice is that the niveau of the topics in the forum is much higher... While in other forums people spam and talk about what they're going to eat or smthg., here I was able to find help concerning modding and I was able to talk to other people about the game that had now taken highest priority in my life, making me think about strategys helping me to defeat the filthy little barbarians and take over the world all the time...
But I was also able to talk about politics and technical problems in the other subforums (although I didn't post very much at the beginning...)
And last but not least, this forum had quite a great impact in my life - it was the reason why I choosed history+ as an additional school subject (additional to normal history), and after having had it for about one year now, I've decided that it will have an important role in my Matura (final exam, here in Austria, when you've fnished highschool). Never before had a game or a forum such an impact on my life...
That's why I love twcenter, and why it plays such a great role in my life now. I think I have allready made a positive contribution to twcenter and it's community by working for mods like Lusted's Terrae Expugnandae, Seasonded Alcoholic's RTG, ArturianTW, Rise of Persia and DarthMod, and by helping in the "technical help" forums e.g. in the matter of how to avoid CTDs in ME-TW, or by uploading files other guys at twcenter were in need for, and of course I'm going to make positive contributions in the future, by releasing my mod "Stickmen - Stupid War" and posting good posts...
And I'm looking forward to take part in the curia and doing everything worthy of a Civitate.
Well, this has become quite long, sorry, and please forgive the language mistakes I surely made, since english is my 3rd language.
Long live TWC!
