You just have to have Rome and 50 provinces, just like it says ingame.

And when you do, you will cut a cutout video scene of your general walking into the Senate to take his place at the head of the hall. And of course the Senators(??) are clapping and waving, the girls are throwing flower petals, and all is well....

Neither is this the dawn from the east, nor is a dragon flying above, nor are the gables of this hall aflame. Nay, mortal enemies approach in ready armour. Ravens are calling, wolves are howling, spear clashes and shield answers
You know, that's one of the only things that has always griped me about the TW series. When you when it shows you a little picture and a paragraph and then, boom, you're back at the main menu. I've always felt like achieving victory was anti-climatic and unfulfilling, especially after all the time, if not effort, that goes into a win. Even a little statistics page, a hall of fame or something. I could show the map when you won, and list a few things like, battles won/lost, number of faction leaders, number of provinces, number of enemies slain, etc. At least then we'd have an easy place to keep memories. Anybody else every felt this way?![]()
well i havent beat the game yet, and it says control rome and 50 provinces and become emperor, i thought that u had to conquer the other romaN families, what happens to them? do they just become part of our faction?
and does beating the full game unlockall the other factions?

The other roman families will still be around if they have not been defeated by the time you finish the game. And you only unlock those playable factions thnat you peersonally destroy in the campaign.

After 1.2 you get the option to keep playing, though
