    Default Graphic Error

    I seem to be unable to run MTW2. The error says: " A fatal graphics error has occurred and the game will no be shutdown. This is normally caused by running your game graphics options set too high, please try running the game again and lowering your graphics settings before entering a battle." I can play Shogun 2 and Empire with the same computer.

    Being two different game engines, don't expect the same results.

    Are we talking Medieval2, Kingdoms, gold edition, Steam, etc.?

    Try them all.

    Look in the Medieval II Total War folder for medieval2.preferences.cfg and if the game made one, delete it and see if it will start.

    Your temps aren't terrible but you do have some leeway in your fan speeds. Boost the fan speeds if you can and see if you can bring that one temp lower (the 52C on Temp1). It shouldn't be a causative factor but it can't hurt to try. Good luck!

    I wonder if PCWIzard or HWMonitor could show the voltages better. Since the temps seem to be good, I'd like to see what the power supply is doing.
